DETROIT LAKES, Minn.—Motorists will encounter a temporary detour of Highway 27 in Herman starting Aug. 24 through Sept. 4, weather permitting, as railroad crews replace the railroad crossing, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be detoured to Third Street West and Pacific Avenue South in Herman.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
